cont. shanghai trip post...part5
part 5 now... and it's still the first day, 21/4 friday, of my trip...
part 5... going into ark...
it was getting very hot outside, but we were all too excited to complain... and after half an hour of wait, not only i'm no longer the end of the line, but there are nearly the same amout of ppl behind me and in front of me... but since i was told not to say anything (in case some ppl get 'upset' about why i don't have a numbered ticket but still stood in line), so i just kept to myself and listened to my houyoku cd, just feeling surreal... thoughts like these passed through my mind: ...i'm in xintiandi, shanghai... i like it already... it reminds me a bit of the rocks, in sydney... i'm here alone... i'm about to see mucc for the first time in an hours time... it's my first 'live' outside australia... my first time to travel to mainland china all by myself... it's only the first day today...
time flies when you are too excited... ppl started to move in front of me, it's 2.40pm already... so i offed my cd player and followed them in... the live house is on 2nd floor... so we have to climb an old narrow wooden stairs, i like the feel of it... on the walls of the stairwell are posters of the live....
the first thing i see once i arrived the live house is the bar area... and once i walked through it i could see the stage very well... the whole place is quite small, about 15metre X 9metre (just my wild estimate)... and there's another floor on top of the bar area, which could be reached by the staircase on the platform on the left side (facing the stage), it's a tiny platform used for standing on the left side of the main area... there are 4 rows of chairs in front of the stage... they were for the media/press... and we were standing behind a fence behind the chairs... i was about 3/4 row from the front, on the left side...

we waited sometime before the light comes up... ^^
note the interesting 'shadowy' lights LOL... and at about the same time, a girl from behind asked us, mucc fans that stand in front, to take the mucc flags that she made and wave them to show mucc our support... this girl rocks!! ^__^ of cos i took one too...
not mine btw, cos i want to take a pic of someone waving it... ^^
there're some obviously die hard mucc fans standing in front on me... they had made a huge plastic banner... which unfortunately i could not see it very clearly, cos they are holding it facing the stage for mucc to see, of cos...
and while we waited, somebody from behind spotted some movement from above... so i look up and saw a big shinny "acid android" banner being hung on the railings of second floor, which i've heard was made by fans... and there are bunch of ppl there on the second floor besides the two staff like persons hanging up the banner... some sitting some standing, smoking chatting... just like the back stage clips we see all the time... O__O THEY ARE HERE ALREADY... OMG...
this is the banner, due to my total lack of skills, it's not very clear... and it's very dark even though i did use the flash... T__T it's a good 8 metres from where i stood, so i cant see anyone clear enuff from that angle (looking up)...
so i think we waited for another half of an hour before they start...
