The article was still imprinted on his mind. Images and knowledge that was all too familiar resounded inside of him almost making nauseous from just the thought. Even the small vicarious contact he had had with the murderer had been enough to know that he was a force to be reckoned with. And no chances would be taken this time.
He had almost everyone he cared deeply for close… almost everyone. Just one who wasn’t in New York, nor would he ever force her to be so. But that didn’t stop him from worrying about her.
So he found himself in Costa Verde. It had taken little time for him to fly there from New York and he already had an address and a phone number for her. It was during the day though, and he knew that she was at school for a little while longer. He wasn’t sure how he would be received, but that wasn’t the issue here. It was that he was worried about her and concerned for her safety. It would do them both well to see with their own eyes that the other was okay.
After buying a large coffee at a nearby coffee shop, he sat down outside of the address Claire had given him and waited for her school day to be over and for her to get home.
