First off, really sorry we took so long with this week's challenge. Last week's challenge was originally meant to last one week, but beccaming, zarah5 and I were so incredibly busy and ended up letting it run for two. contrelamontre is still alive and kicking, we swear!
This week's challenge? Use these four words in your story: desultory, crisp, silver, and autofocus. You may change the tense. You may use related forms of the word (i.e. desultory: desultorily, desultoriness). These should also make sense: 'on one desultory stormy morning, she ate crispy apple pie and used the autofocus button on her camera to take a picture of her silver spoon' is not acceptable.
