...with Sis Kate, Sis Cecelia, Aubrey, Nora, Danna, Cerys, Dennis and Kenneth Kwang for the Stake Youth performance When the Prophet Speaks.
Was late. And thankfully was able to get the Lord's help with the estimation of clothing sizes of most of the YW.
Then went to Peninsular Shopping Centre. I found another shopping paradise! And apparently, basic everyday clothing e.g. 3/4-sleeved t-shirts (without any logo or whatsoever) can be found there too. And also stuff like cardigans, jackets made of thinner materials (suitable for the sweltering weather of Singapore), knee-length khakis and etc can be found there at like $15 each.
Coolio moolio~
And since we couldn't find any suitable YW or YM clothings there, we moved on to PS. There, we found the clothings for YM. From G2000.
And frankly, it wasn't all that bad. The cut of the polo tee was sleek. And the material has the quality too.
As for the girls' G2000 choice picked by Sis C and Sis K, it was in my opinion not too bad cos' it's the style of clothing I would wear. Pictures soon!
But because it's only to my liking and definitely not to others' liking, therefore, NO. Next idea please!
Oh, and I managed to find my workpants there! 2 to be exact! At $88 for 2. Okay, a bit steep, but the 1st one was $69, then the 2nd piece was 70% off. Plus an additional 15% off cos' one of the sisters had G2000 membership card. And the altering of pants' lengths is free...
And then, we moved on to Bugis Village to find the clothings for the YWs.
And there, after some search on the 2nd floor shop, finding the shop [the same shop where I bought my pistachio green cardigan (yes, under the influence of Inoue Mao after she appeared on AnS and ate pistachio gelato, AND made pistachio sound so sophisticated) for CNY], auntie asked us to move to the 1st floor (same shop) to see more colours of clothing, haggling the price with the lady for buying in bulk, and looking for a matching white inner tank top that goes with the clothing but failed cos' the fabric material was too thin, we finally managed to end our shopping at about 1905.
The outer clothing which all of us (yes, I mean it, seeking the opinions of everyone who went except for the young men cos' they went off already) chose is quite simple yet stylish at the same time. Comes in lollipop colours (yellow, blue, pink, white, purple) and it is NOT cardigans.
Look forward to that yar?
Then after that, Cerys and I walked around Bugis Village for a bit, then went to Illuma. It was pretty empty and spacious and there are some speciality shops e.g. Ameba and Otaku House (read: funky things paradise!). But the eating places were too expensive for the 2 of us...
So we went to this place called QQ House (noodle restaurant) for dinner. The food is not too bad really. And the pricing is reasonable. Mine was a big bowl of QQ House Special noodles for only $5.00! Awesomeness~
After dinner, went to Bugis junction to get some more stuff before heading home... Didn't manage to get my house slippers and MannHo's pen refill (from Muji) though...
Oh wells, can't wait for another time when I can go shopping again! And I think I might need lots of retail therapy sessions as I'm going through my IEP. It's so stressful!!! >.<
