Then went to 新旺 HK Cafe @ ION Orchard for lunch for the 2nd time with Ken-san god bro and Hwee Ling. 1st time (with god bro and Rosalind) tried their fish porridge and almond cream. Quite nice. 2nd time there ordered their wanton soup noodles thingy, their steamed custard buns and hot barley drink. They were really nice. I strongly recommend going there cos' the food is delicious and the price is quite reasonable.
I thought after lunch could go back home to do some things before heading for church again for Thanksgiving dinner. But apparently I had to go for this RS baking Christmas cookies enrichment activity. Had also thought of not going, but then I felt I had to go, and also cos' I want to learn how to make the cookies so I just went.
Turned out to be really fun (: Had fun decorating the cookies. And when I was decorating this cookie for Manda, I kept thinking of the song 素晴らしき世界 by 嵐. LOL XD Maybe that was what inspired me to decorate this cookie that way...
Then at 6pm, had thanksgiving dinner at church. The food was really good, and I tried this jello salad by Sis Dozier. It was very refreshing! Hmm, maybe should ask for the recipe...
Then after the dinner, I went to Manda's house to deliver this Christmas cookie that I decorated. She's rushing for her 'A's revision. Well, ganbatte to all those taking their 'A's this year!
It was a nice day, but what impressed me the most about this day was that I saw some people who gave quiet service. When everybody just wants to have fun, they are serving quietly behind everybody. They don't ever complain about not being praised for their acts of service and even when everybody just seems so uncooperative or take advantage of them, they just smile and move on. That's an awesome thing for me to learn.
