there is a 24-hour animal emergency clinic, reasonably priced and located off Airline on Cottondale for everyone's future reference.
the kitten is actually around 6 weeks old and, in fact, a female.
news for everyone: she finally DEFECATED.
predictably waiting until we were in my car approaching Addis on hwy 1, a point too far to turn back but too far to ride with kitten shit odors.
she's spending the night until i can bring her back to my parents' after work tomorrow.
i bathed and fed her, putting her in a crate locked in my bathroom to sleep peacefully.
i'm thinking of Portia as the name.
but am not decided.
this is almost like having an actual child.
but, infinitely more rewarding.
