One I won't see.
queenmabwords post about Uma Thurman's necklace got me thinking about the movie she is promoting. My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Generally, I don't like to downtalk people or things. And really, I'm not very picky about silly movies. I like them. And I like Uma Thurman a heck of a lot too. But the theme/plot of this movie is seriously repugnant to me. I was surprised at my own strong reaction to the preview. It appears to be someone stronger dominating someone weaker, by force. Male or female, doesn't matter, it's still abhorrent. There are a few things I have strong opinions about, and this, apparently, is one of them. Hopefully, the preview just gave me the wrong impression and the movie is just light silliness afterall. Don't think I'll see this one though.
