It's official.
I am now Mrs. Davin Monroe....or really just, Mrs. Lindsey Monroe.
I still haven't decided whether it will be Lindsey Helen Monroe (keep my middle name), or Lindsey Dhans Monroe (drop my middle name, use my maiden name instead) or Lindsey Helen Dhans Monroe (one big old name, although I'd still only sign paper work "Lindsey Monroe"). Hmm...decisions decisions. It's like creating a new identity- it's kinda weird.
The cruise was beautiful. Nassau was nice, but not my favorite. St. Thomas was- oh wow. We nearly missed the boat and stayed there. I mean, technicially it's part of the U.S. and Davin could transfer with the government. Well, it was nice to dream about anyway. And St. Maarten was beautiful as well, although we didn't see as much of the island itself and never did make it over to the French side.
All in all, the whole thing was beautiful. The ceremony and reception went so incredibly well. There were little snags like there always are with such events, but nothing major, and nothing to worry about unless you let it get to you, and I'm not. It was just like a dream. Now, I'm a little sad that it's all over. So much excitement and anticipation and then BAM, before you now it you're back in the Port of Miami and the honeymoon is coming to an end. But like my husband keeps telling me, "Be sad that it's over, be glad that it happened." He's so wise- haha.
If I get around to it I'll try to update more about everything later on. For now, I'm going to go join my husband in his nap!
