I agree with what everyone else said. Just be yourself! Even in the professional world, you can maintain some sort of aesthetic androgyny, and as for your personal life-- wear what you feel like wearing, act however you wish to act. You don't need to pigeonhole yourself into a traditional gender archetype. None of the the behaviours you're describing are mutually incompatible, and if some of them raise a few eyebrows-- well, people will get over it, and if they're seriously alarmed, they're pretty close-minded. I understand a bit of what you're talking about. I always dress effeminately, but I do overtly chivalrous things for girls. I have a soft spot for sweet girls and like to take care of them, to the point that I've led a few gay girls to believe I'm gay as well. It's okay to be both delicate and protective, to want to be courteous but coddled as well. It's okay to be a gentleman and a lady. It's true that it'll be hard to get professional respect in a jeans and T-shirt, but that goes for all of us, and, even in the workplace, there are other ways to express your unique combination of "male" and "female" (I use big quotation marks here) characteristics. And once you're off work and you pull off your skirt and tie, nobody's gonna care what you wear or what videogames you play. :) I think you'll find a balance when you realise how lovely you are the way you are!
