Other minds
Hiya all you lovely people.
One thing I've often heard noted about many fantasy/faux medieval books is that the characters really have modern minds, modern values (at least the good guys).
What I am interested in is fantasy/sci fi you've read where you've REALLY felt the unusualness of the way the characters think and act or interact. That real sense of "other world" in how they work.
