I did none of the things that I have planned for my holiday vacation
Sort of.
I was able to successfully "research" some of the things that I want to buy for myself, one of which is a computer chair. My current one barely has any cushion and is rather wide lengthwise, so I was looking for something better.
I was so glad I was able to go to the stores and physically test them - some of the seat cushions are rather stiff, and I couldn't understand why. Fortunately I found some seats that do have fairly soft cushions. Also, I realized that there are some features that I would like (i.e. a nice headrest, or maybe I can buy a separate pillow cushion thing), and features that I might not necessarily need, like an adjustable armrest - some of the armrests are rather high enough, and I think if I still find it too low I can also buy those arm cushions.
I also intend to buy a monitor, but I am thinking of either buying the extra monitor that Roel has, or just buying a brand new one. The price that Roel is offering is just 50% of a brand new monitor of similar specs, but I wonder if he might need it in the future, or if I am being greedy and just want another new monitor.
I don't know why, but... something is preventing me from buying things.
When I made a post about finally buying and getting all the parts I need for Wimpy V2, I mentioned that it was the results of the "...evaluation of myself as a person (I am half-serious), and the garnering of courage from all cores of my being (I'm fully serious)..." Maybe a part of it is because I'm not exactly comfortable spending a moderate amount of money for myself, for things that I do not necessarily "need" to buy. It's not a budget issue - I am... privileged to be able to afford things that are considered luxuries.
There is another item which I wish to purchase, and have spent a good amount of time researching. Its cost is... very close to the total cost of Wimpy V2, and is also not a necessity. I am having a bit of trouble making a decision because of the possible attributes of the item, among other things.
I have not said what this item is. I will probably show this item... soon.
