UGH, I've found a new form of torture in the Missed Connections of Craigslist. I found this on there today:
You think things will happen a certain way until the day everything changes. There were two paths set out before us. I realize now that I wasn't ready to take the path you wanted. In some ways, I'm still not ready. I know I left you disappointed but you should know that I really did care about you. I know you're not content with your life and you won't be until certain conditions are met. Don't wait for those conditions. You won't be any happier.
