especially when you're hoping against hope that history is about to be made.

at least I was smart this year and had booze on hand before I needed it, rather than realizing that I needed it, and then learning that Wisconsin doesn't sell alcohol outside of bars after 9 pm. Man, that made November 2004 suck hard.

Total word count is now 3921.

Here's what I wrote tonight. Still haven't figured out where I'm going, but hey, that's what dream time is for!

You may remember that I started futzing with a story a while back, and posted the first two paragraphs on here. Well, I took that as a jumping off point, and I've been writing for the last few hours. I have no idea where this story's going, but I kind of like it so far! I think this is sort of chapter one.
