MAPS
(
navigation. )
These maps are for PLAYER REFERENCE ONLY. Characters do not have access to them. They are, however, welcome to draw their own, but please bear in mind that they will need to find the supplies to do so and the amount of time (and effort, considering monsters getting more dangerous near the outskirts) it will take for them to explore the whole area. Assume that anything labeled with a specific name will have a sign somewhere on it so characters can see it.

The city is called Discedo, a city in the world of Fortuna. One sun brightens the day, while two moons light up the night.
The city of Discedo is moderately sized as cities go. It is bordered to the north and west by a large lake. It is bordered to the east and south by a thick forest and to the southeast by mountains. There is a highway at the center that turns into bridge over the lake bed. Unfortunately for characters, however, it has collapsed about half a mile out. There is also a tunnel through the mountains, but it has collapsed, not to mention the monsters that teem near its entrance.
Update
May 24th, 2008 the dry lake bed is now filled with water from constant rain during the Spring.
September 29th, 2008 the lake is off-limits due to contamination. An electric fence keeps characters from passing, and signs of caution discourage those who want to try. You can't drink from them, swim from them, eat fish from them until further notice.
November 19th, 2008 - Electric fence around the lake goes down. However no creatures are living in the lake now. The water itself is safe to drink and swim in though.
The Residential District is home to several important buildings. There are several apartment buildings, but the darker-colored ones denote buildings that have been destroyed or are otherwise uninhabitable. Apartments are five stories tall with around 25 rooms per floor. Saint Andrew's Hospital is important as it is where characters are dropped after being revived from death. Horizon Park is not so much a park as it is a dirt clod with rotting tree trunks and rusting playground equipment.
*June 25th - St. Peter's Church, Little Anchor Elementary, and the apartment on Marshall Street have been heavily damaged. The apartment on Marshall Street only contains three floors, instead of the original five.
APARTMENT BUILDINGS
RESIDENCE LIST Generally the place where most characters will live, though characters are free to live in other buildings besides the apartments. However, the apartments do house most of the overall community.

The school was destroyed by Vegeta in 2008, and reconstructed by the Elric brothers. It is used for various classes and workshops. Does NOT house people living in the classrooms.

Ed and Al's workshop ST. ANDREW'S HOSPITAL
Here, characters are revived from death. They wake up in patients' rooms among the second and third floor. As of 2009, doctors also take and treat patients in the hospital, after clearing out monsters and making it habitable.
Hospital guide and doctors B1 contains a hole in the floor that tunnels all the way into the sewers (from room B13)

The Seaport does not have much to offer at this point in time. The Fish Market, however, delivers the pungent aroma of decaying animal matter.
*Characters can access the subway level from Gar Street (more details below)
THE SUBWAY
Originally found on Brebo Avenue near the end of June, but the entrance is impassable now. Characters were previously chased into this abandoned station, likely left to die.
However there is a way in from Gar Street. The basic layout is the same.
*From information found in the subway, it seems a city called "Accido" lies to the North, "Spero" to the west, and "Dissimulo" to the south.
*A secret passage leads even further underground. The Scientists were found using these passages, but they are currently blocked off from characters who want to snoop around. However, for reference, the path leads to the mountain area of Discedo.

The Shopping District is important in the way of supplies and possibly entertainment. There are a few clothing stores if characters are so inclined to shop, though the darker ones have collapsed. The few restaurants that are left may offer both decaying food and canned supplies. The Northern Lights Bar may have some longer-lasting supplies, however. The North Star Superstore is similar to a Target or Wal*Mart; you can assume it has similar merchandise. The Arms Store is one you may get excited about, but keep in mind its location. At the outskirts, you may run into more powerful enemies. If you can survive long enough to get inside, good luck getting the supplies out.
The NORTHERN LIGHTS has been cleaned up and turned into a functioning bar/restaurant by
Aragaki Shinjiro.
Staff list. The Industrial District also does not have much to offer yet other than ominous warehouses.
The Commercial District has a few things of interest. It houses the City Hall--which also functions as a courthouse and boasts a tall clock tower--and the Fire and Police Stations. There are a few office buildings left, but most have collapsed. Captain's Park is in much the same condition as Horizon Park, minus the playground equipment but with more monsters.
