Monster Name: Southbirds Canon: One Piece Information Link: http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/South_Bird Description: They face south no matter what, which makes them awesome compasses -- if you can withstand how fucking annoying they are. (They are extremely obnoxious to anyone.) They don't like getting caught and can control even relatively large insects with their call -- which they will use to ward off humanoid intruders.
Also I feel silly for keeping Prinnies inside Marco's compendium of wild creatures unless they are still here, so if that could be added back to the page, I would really greatly appreciate it.
Monster Name: Gibberling Canon: Baldur's Gate and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Information Link: http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Gibberling Description: Gibberlings are pretty much the fodder of Faerun being rather easy to deal with, but plentiful monsters. They're strength is usually that they attack in large numbers and use their hairy claws. They are usually found in dense or dark forests, and are usually nocturnal. Not good for eating, unless you're desperate. (Use wiki for more details)
Monster Name:Parasimon Canon:Digimon Tamers Information Link: http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Parasimon Description: A kind of digimon that survives by attaching itself as a parasite to other beings. It attacks by attaching a tentacle to it's victims and manipulating their minds. while attached to a host, the parasimon is completely invisible and the host is driven to pursue a single goal. For example, moving fast or singing. They will pursue this to the point of attacking anyone who attempts to interfere. When revealed, a parasimon will show itself and attack with laser blasts while keeping their host hostage.
I am basing their description off how they behaved in the second Tamers movie instead of the card game.
Question! Are the forgetfulness effects from the conceptual piranha fish permanent? I'm going to guess the stuff from the sharks is... (unless you die or get canon reset/updated or something??)
Monster Name: Ankheg Canon: Forgotten Realms and/or "All D&D eeeeever" -- They're even copied for Final Fantasy V (though I'm submitting D&D version) Information Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankheg Description: Six legs, mandibles capable of snapping trees, and even really strong arrows and swords have to hit the right spot or their shell will ward it the fuck off. They burrow underground (though they don't really create tunnels unless it's for their home since it takes them a long time) and when they first come up for food, all you can see are feelers which they use to check for prey. Once they get a good idea of their surroundings the full 10 feet of them stands up to eat anything -- weapons and all. As their final attack they spit acid (though they don't like to because then they can't eat for hours later and it only comes up to eat) and after any serious damage they will attempt to run away by burrowing underground (at which point not much, even magic,
