bought FFXIII today, have been playing all day so far. first impressions: first hour or two is boring and linear. once the story kicks in more and the characters come together it becomes more interesting and i do think i am going to like these characters more than i initially did. battles are very simple in the beginning but are slowly becoming

Vanille's voice annoys the hell out of me. especially in the beginning for some reason. but i think my ears got acclimated to it.

do you have a favorite playable character of the moment?

Chocobo gets the funniest lines.

how are you playing this game? you have a 360 or ps3?

i know what you mean about vanille's voice. i think it just changes a lot...the accent goes in and out and sometimes she talks more obnoxiously, like a little girl or a cartoon character and at other times her voice isn't as annoying. they might as well have used the same voice actress as rikku since she has almost the same personality as her and selphie.

hmm i like lightning the best so far...maybe.. i also like sazh and how his choco-afro moves in the wind.

Yeah, it's on PS3 or 360 but I recommend the PS3 version cuz it's one disc as opposed to 3.
