First and absolutely foremost before I talk about Florida, I need to give The Jen some love.
The Jen and I have been spending more time together lately and she is fantastic. She is beautiful, smart, hilarious, and talks about jalapenos and pooping. She is a wonderful friend and wonderful person. So I got her a kitten. I brought the kitten from Houston with me. If you wanna know more about Kitten Fantastic (who is staying with me until Jen's cable and whatnot get hooked up) you can ask her. Let her be the doting mom.
Denver and I missed out on all the UT graduation festivities to spend 4 or so days in Florida with his family and friends. It was a really hard decision for me, but going was the right one and I'm so glad that I went. I am so proud of all of y'all who graduated: Carrie, Ray, Shan, Lolly, Cho Cho, Angy Landry, Christina, and anyone I forgot. Y'all are badasses in so many different ways all your own. Congratulations!
On to Florida!
The flight down on Thursday was AWFUL (the movie was "Are We There Yet?" which was more predictable than Home Alone 3 and the kids were uglier and it made me wish I was Hellen Keller. And the billion screaming annoying kids didn't help) We spent some time with the grandparents that night which is awesome, since I don't have any grandparents of my own. We went out drinking (with Jeremiah!) later that night and my brother in law (to be)'s friends acted like rude immature jackasses stuck in their senior year of HS. Too bad nobody told them they're all 24 or 25 and living with their parents and thus LAME. I dunno... Austin (the brother-in-law) had a few moments that snuck through where we were getting along and I liked him... but those friends. BLEH!
Friday I got to spend some quality time with the sisters. The boys all went to play golf, so Cari and I went and had lunch with Dusty at school. We also went and ordered her bridesmaid dress. Cari is fantastic. Seriously. Dusty kicks a lot of ass herself, but I spent a lot more time with Cari and we have inside stories and such now (Yea, she wanted to hit on Daddy. EW!) and I'm a lucky girl to get these sisters. After girl adventures, it was time for Cari's graduation. I'm so freakin' proud of her! Then we went to dinner. I ate too many jalapenos (they came back to haunt me the next day) and the waiter was a jackass. The family went and saw Star Wars afterwards. It was hott. And yea, I cried when Padme died. What. Yea.
Saturday morning we got up waaaaay early to take Austin to the airport in Jacksonville. We drove around a little bit, sat at the river, then went to the Museum of History and Science. I fell asleep in the planetarium. So we went and ate lunch, then had to get a motel room to take a nap (oh, sorry. The family lives in Daytona Beach) because we were about to die. After the nap, we hung out with his friend Brandie.
Onward to St. Augustine!
We met up with the fam for dinner. 2 bottles of wine. Feelin' good. Then we went and played putt putt because there was time to kill before the comedy show. Head over to the comedy show after a personal best on the putt putt course. 2 more bottles of wine and some crazy antics with Cari (who is very popular with the boys and damn well should be because she's beautiful AND smart and cool) then back to Daytona.
Sunday we finally got to sleep in. When we finally got up, we spent time being retarded with Shirley and Angie. Those 2 are ridiculous and I loves them and it was good times out the wazoo!
We got back to Texas late Sunday night and were both back to the grind today. That part sucked.

Tomorrow my Carrie moves out. If anyone has some insight on how it's supposed to feel when you are getting slapped in the face with actually being a grown up, toss it my way. I mean, yea, we've been technically grownups for a while now, but Vishka Waddles has been my partner in college antics for the better part of the past 5 years. She's my first college friend. And now, she's moving to NYC to pursue her career because she graduated. And the next time we spend a lot of time together will be when I'm getting married. We're doing very adult things now. It's scary. It's not like sneaking beer into the dollar cinema or Pammy Door Olympics. *sigh*
Laura's moving in to take her place and D and I are looking for our new place where we'll be starting in July. CRAZY!
Luna Lulu and I are gonna head to bed with Denver pretty soon. Hope that was enough of an update for those of you who harass me about it. *mwah*
