(no subject)
At work today, I inadvertently agreed to take on Monday hours again. *headdesk* Oh well, it was nice to have one non-holiday Monday off. I have coffee tomorrow and a three-day sub job lined up next Friday. Both should get me into the proper mind set to follow up on some of the responses I've gotten from the big resume send out.
The munch was cool, as usual. It was nice to see Owen Theo there. He's really a cool guy and I wish all newbies had his kind of energy. He's not afraid to ask questions or clown on himself. I was a bit worried when Charles in Charge showed up, but he seemed to behave himself for the most part. If his munch appearances go like this for the next three months, he may redeem himself a bit. Time will tell, but I doubt it will last. I got a bit of a temperature spike toward the end, which kick started my claustrophobia. I apologize to anyone I may have inadvertently kicked while seeking legroom. It was nice seeing S there on the prowl... in shorts no less. :::drool::: I have many, varied weaknesses (females with a pulse being a big one).
Got home to find "Untraceable" waiting in the mailbox. Popped it in and watched the trailers (I'll start watching it when I finish up here.) One trailer made me *headdesk* big time. The first one was alright. I read the book and understand that the movie was meant to be a bit of a farce. Right? The
second one was pure and utter shit. Classic sci-fi-channel-wannabe-not-even-close-to-the-coolness-of-the-original movie. Now the third one has got my spidey sense tingling. I'm not sure if I should be intrigued, or send everyone involved in this movie a compilation of "Fail" macros.
