Munch madness and more
The munch was jumping. I was a bit overwhelmed and had to focus on my breathing. That hasn't happened in a while and I was quite surprised. Apparently I was missed at the last munch, but that was the day I had to head home and turn off the heat to save myself from a large gas bill. Plus I had no money in my bank account and wanted to save as much gas as possible. It appeared that I wasn't the only one that had a full weekend. There was lots of chatter about all the goings ons that various people went to. I like the fact that I was invited to some of it, even if I couldn't afford to go.
The good news is I got paid yesterday and am reaping the benefits of my little pay increase. It turned out to equal an extra hundred and change. W00T!!!
I chatted on the phone with an internet friend of mine last night. She seems really sweet, and I will shut up about it now since I don't want to jinx it.
I also watched Rendition and Romance & Cigarettes today. Rendition has turned me off of air travel for a while. But I now know why our government looks down on the kink lifestyle; we're training to *enjoy* torture. Electro-shock is just extreme electricity play. Water boarding is just extreme breath play. They're gonna be scratching their heads wondering how the fuck to make one of us talk. Romance & Cigarettes was cute. The musical part threw me a little. Several times I thought, why is Tony Soprano singing?
I need to check in with someone in the morning and see if we're still on for the Pirate Party. If not, I'll just swing by the local dungeon after the munch on Friday and renew my membership then.
I also have to set up plans for potential get together thingy on Sunday. This time I will have the correct directions and I will have food to snack on before we leave.
