The munch was quite full tonight. I got there early and found Unc already there. We chatted for a bit and, when he heard my job search woes, he gave me another place to check out. The crowd ramped up really fast and we had to add tables several times. For some reason I thought of the Crown dining hall (Annex another table!). I talked with one of the resident mechanics about the noise my brake is making. Apparently my hypothesis was correct, but it's a bit more serious than I thought. The phrase "catastrophic brake failure" came to mind. That's getting bumped to the top of the list. I need more income though, and I'm working hard on that as well.
Later in the evening I got a pseudo-job offer. It seems to involve sales, but in a not-so-evil way. We'll see; I'm expected to call either Tuesday or Wednesday.
As the evening wound down, the forgotten side mission during Drunk Night was rekindled and my collar was removed (After a small, unplanned breath-play scene). I wasn't expecting the stir it seemed to create, especially in Non Sequitur Woman. I thought I was safe since I was way younger than her youngest son (A limit she has expressed in the past). I was sooooo wrong and extremely weirded out when much of the conversation reminded me of my grandmother. It felt like she was grooming me. :::TWITCH::: I'm not saying I don't like older women; it's just not right when my brain keeps interjecting "That's what grandma would say!"
As the munch slowly dissolved I dreaded going home and facing the music. Surprisingly enough, when I got home, I found that no one else was home (Hence why this post is going out now.). I hate when that happens; I feel like I cleaned up the downstairs for nothing when I could have focused on my room a bit more. Oh well. Oh, and I noticed that the not-so-basic cable channels are out with the "Channel not purchased" message. Guess I should look into getting a pirated box and/or card.
In the mail, I received a replacement DVD for "Meet the Spartans." Some parts were hysterical but, as a whole, it kind of blew. It was only a little over an hour with a bunch of random scenes added into the middle of the credits. Carmen Electra was *HOT* and made it a bit more bearable. I honestly think the art of the spoof is slowly being forgotten. Pop culture references only get the viewer halfway there. A decent plot also has to be included as well.
Tomorrow I have work and possibly a bit of admin training. Then I get to help B move out of his temporary digs on Hamilton. Then, perhaps, the dreaded discussion.
