Watch It!
Almost everything is instant nowadays and because of this we have acquired a trait of being always in a rush. Some even impatiently wait for food to be reheated in a microwave even if it takes only 1 to 2 minutes. I guess there are aspects in our daily lives when this trait can be useful but we have to know when it is not.
One example is, "EVERYONE SHOULD BE QUICK TO LISTEN...SLOW TO SPEAK... AND SLOW TO BECOME ANGRY." (James 1:19). I'm sure the crime rate would drop to an all-time low if more people would heed this simple advice. There are so many other things that we need to give much thought to.
An aspect that needs a lot of careful consideration is our thought life. There's a saying that goes, "Watch your THOUGHTS, for they become words. Watch your WORDS, for they become actions. Watch your ACTIONS, for they become habits. Watch your HABITS, for they become character. Watch your CHARACTER, for it becomes your DESTINY." It's important that we guard our minds by carefully deciding what thoughts are allowed to fill it.
When a person is told to "Watch it!", he is being warned not to rush into something because decisions have a domino effect. One wrong move causes another wrong move and so on. On the other hand, one right move also causes another right move and so on. The video below shows just how one thing leads to another.
