Tree Of Life
I could still remember how my heart would beat in excitement as I check out my gifts placed under the heavily decorated Christmas tree. As a child, the opening of gifts was definitely my Christmas highlight.
As time passed, I slowly realized that the gift-giving was just a symbolism of the Greatest Gift of all: "For God so loved the world, that HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE." (John 3:16)
The Christmas tree that looked so alive with decor and lights was actually dead eventhough it had gifts at its feet.
The real tree is the TREE OF LIFE, Jesus, at whose feet are true riches forevermore!
