Precious Word of God

There are people who believe that Jesus Christ was just a good man or a respected prophet.

Here are some bible verses that prove that He is not only the Savior of the world but is also God in the flesh:

(1) GENESIS 1:26  Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, in Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

(2) JOHN 20:28  Thomas answered Him, my Lord and my God!

(3) ISAIAH 9:6 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

(4) JOHN 17:5  And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed.

(5) HEBREWS 1:8  But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of absolute righteousness.

(6) COLOSSIANS 1:16  For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through him and in and for Him.

(7) 1 TIMOTHY 3:16  And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth of godliness. He was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

(8) ISAIAH 40:28  Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.

(9) PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8  Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, but stripped Himself of all privileges and rightful dignity, so as to assume the guise of a servant, in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

(10) 1 JOHN 5:7  So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One;

(11) ACTS 7:59  And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

(12) JOHN 1:1-4,14  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us; and we saw His glory, such glory as an only begotten Son receives from His Father, full of grace and truth.

(13) COLOSSIANS 2:9  For in Him the whole fullness of Deity continues to dwell in bodily form.

(14) ISAIAH 40:3 A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God!

(15) JOHN 10:33 The Jews replied, We are not going to stone You for a good act, but for blasphemy, because You, a mere man, make Yourself God.

(16) HEBREWS 1:3  He is the sole expression of the glory of God, and He is the perfect imprint and very image of God's nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When he had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high,

(17) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:4  For the god of this world has blinded the unbeliever's minds, preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image and likeness of God.

(18) JOHN 14:8-9  Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father; then we shall be satisfied. Jesus replied, Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father?

(19) ACTS 20:28  Take care and be on guard for yourselves and the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you bishops and guardians, to shepherd the church of the Lord or of God which He obtained for Himself with His own blood.

(20) 1 JOHN 3:16  Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

(21) ISAIAH 44:6  Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and His Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.

(22) REVELATION 1:17-18  When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as if dead. But He laid His right hand on me and said, Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last, and the Ever-living One. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore; and I possess the keys of death and Hades.

(23) JOHN 8:57-58  Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham? Jesus replied, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I AM.

(24) EXODUS 3:14  God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

(25) JOHN 1:3  All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.

(26) JOHN 5:21  For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom He is pleased to give it.

(27) JOHN 5:18  Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

(28) MARK 14:61-63  But He kept still and did not answer at all. Again the high priest asked Him, Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I AM; and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power (the Almighty) and coming on the clouds of heaven. Then the high priest tore his garments and said, What need have we for more witnesses?

(29) TITUS 2:13  looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus

(30) REVELATION 19:16  And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

(31) LUKE 5:20-21  Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you." The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

(32) REVELATION 19:11-14  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

May God's Word cause us to have a more meaningful life!
