And Man Will Live Forevermore
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year when people have a deep sense of hope, joy, peace and goodwill. It is unlike any other holiday because this is when the world celebrates the birth of the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.
All the gift-giving, which is characteristic of Christmas, is just a representation of the greatest Gift of all -- "For God so loved the world that He GAVE His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Part of a Christmas carol goes, "... and man will live forevermore because of Christmas Day." This is exactly why we should all be filled with hope, joy, peace and goodwill. Because on Christmas Day, a Savior was given to us by God by whom we can all be saved. May we all know this deep in our hearts so we can truly have a merry Christmas!
