Summary: Regina ponders her situation after 2x01's Storybrooke's main events.
The night had fallen and the town was fast asleep. Regina was sitting alone in her living room, hands on her lap, unmoving, barely blinking and breathing. There was no light but for the fire in the fireplace. She didn’t bother; what was the point?
The same voices rang in her head endlessly...
“No, we don’t; Regina does.”
“I made a promise to Henry, she is not dying.”
“Regina!”
“- So what’s stopping you? You think you’re some heroic prince? Please, you’re nothing but the son of a shepherd! I should have killed while I could. And now? Now I can...
- Mom? What are you doing? ... You really are the evil Queen. I don’t want to see you again.
- No, don’t say that. I love you.
- Then, prove it. Get Emma and Mary-Margaret back. And until then, leave me, leave everyone alone!”
“With me.”
The voices kept echoing in her head. All of them condemning her but one... one single person who stood for her and paid the price.
Regina didn’t want to admit but Emma Swan had proved herself. When everyone turned on her, granted rightly so, Emma put herself in their way to protect her. Emma had every reason not to and yet...
Regina swallowed hard. No matter how she manipulated the blonde sheriff, Emma Swan didn’t bat and eyelash when they found out she was marked for the Wraith.
And more than that... she pushed her out of the way. Had she taken the dive, she’d be trapped in the same world with the Wraith with no hope of salvation. Emma saved her life.
Regina would refuse it but Emma was only fighting because she was thinking of what was best for Henry. She was ready to leave Storybrooke for him. And now? Now... Regina was all alone in her living room. Henry left her; Emma disappeared in the hat... No matter how much she resisted or kept denying it Regina missed Emma. Her energy, her smile but also her barking...
“Regina!” Her voice echoed in her head again, right before she pushed her out of the Wraith’s way.
“Oh, dear...” her own voice whispered in the back of her head. “You so tired you cannot even continue lying to yourself!” Regina almost flinched. “If you want to sulk, sulk. But remember: when you jump into action, you need to tell me, tell yourself, no lies...” A moment’s pause made Regina draw a sharp breath before the voice, her own voice, continued seductively:
“Now, tell me... how do you feel about Emma Swan?”

Summary: A(n OC) member of Voyager decides to visit the Enchanted Forest in the Holodeck. xD
Lieutenant Julie Griff stepped out of her quarters over at USS-Voyager. She knew that she would never hear the end of it, if she came across any of her colleagues and especially Tom Paris that would also automatically mean that her boss, B’ elanna Torres the Chief Engineer, would know about it. But she just couldn’t resist... besides, going to the Holodeck was more like a vacation; the Delta Quadrant didn’t offer many other opportunities.
She smoothed her black dress over tight leather pants and straightened her hat before she hurried to the Holodeck. She’d carefully planned the time slot to coincide with the Alpha shift in an effort to avoid any of the senior staff.
She proceeded to the end of the corridor and turned left to get to the turbolift and straight up to Deck 6. Moments later, looking over her shoulder, Julie input her codes and called upon the computer:
“Computer, activate Griff-once upon a time program, chapter 9, True North.”
“Program set. Enter when ready.”
Julie breathed deeply in excitement.
“Lieutenant?” the most recognizable voice on the ship came from a few feet away behind her, causing Julie to freeze in her place. Captain Janeway looked Griff from top to bottom making a half-shocked, half-intrigued face.
“The Evil Queen?” Julie turned rigidly to face her and nodded awkwardly.
“Yes... yes, captain.” Janeway chuckled at her embarrassment.
“Don’t worry, lieutenant, you should see my Arachnia dress. Maybe we could have a crossover sometime.”
“Thank you, captain.” Julie mumbled still in shock, eyes glimmering and with a geeky smile hovering over her lips.
“Well, don’t let me keep you.” The captain smirked playfully and went on her way.
Julie felt almost thunderstruck by her behaviour. The captain’s fascination with history was no a secret, far from it, but in 21st century slang she was a nerd... or a geek... one of the two, Julie wasn’t sure, but she was certain for the captain. She wondered if captain Janeway would understand, if she ever told her that she felt like fangirling over her nerdiness... or geekyness. She quickly dismissed her uncertainty and rushed through the Holodeck’s doors.
A black carriage with four horses and six riders in full armor were waiting for her in formation and another next to the door but still frozen at the moment as the program would begin when she put her foot on the carriage’s foothold.
As she set her foot on the small metal step, the program was activated and it came to life.
“Your Majesty” the soldier opened the door to let her in, bowing his head.
Julie enjoyed the scenery and the carriage ride only to be interrupted by a sudden stop. She opened the door and popped her head out. Seeing two young children, a dark haired boy and a blonde girl, Julie immersed herself into the Evil Queen’s persona.
“What are you doing in my forest?”
“Look at them! Hansel and Grettel” she thought to herself as the story began...
