Saturday Alex and I went to see Phantom of the Opera. It was AMAZING, just like everyone said, only better than I ever could have imagined! At least... it was after they remembered to turn on the sound track.....
I Loved the beginning... with the "newly wired for electricity" chandelier.. when they raised it, the way the entire theatre backtracked from 1919 to 18crappitycantremember... such an amazing transformation scene though!!!!! with the music in the background-- "He's there... the Phantom of the Opera!" --- Only without the words yet... the girl who played Christine--- SUBLIME! Her voice was perfectly angelic. Minnie driver was perfect as Carlotta-- older, past her prime (if tht HORRID voice ever had a prime) in the Opera. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
I am DEFINITELY buying tht when it comes out on dvd. forget the fact that i dun actually have anything to play it on.... O.o
