Related to a story idea I threw out a few weeks ago

A while back I posted about a tentative story idea involving a guitar player from a forgotten rock band who has become a vet and left it all behind. (Have made no progress on the idea, but haven't given it much thought recently.)

If that general scenario sounded familiar to you, it may be because of Peter Ostrum, child star turned large-animal vet. He has fond memories of the one movie he did, and very much enjoys his current rewarding profession.

Now there's a happy ending!
