Merlin: Season Two continues to entertain. I particularly like Arthur's newfound tone of Condescending Big Brother, which we hear every time Merlin so much as looks at a woman. Well, considering Merlin's complete and utter cluelessness in season one, I guess Arthur has a point at that.
I don't think I noticed, in season one, that Uther never takes off his gloves. I assume that will be explained at some point. (If you know, don't tell me! I'm imagining all sorts of heinous possibilities!)
I was warned that season two gets a little darker than season one, which I can already see. But the interesting thing is, the relationships between Merlin and the other characters (particularly Arthur and except, obviously, Uther) are more solid now so there's less sense of anxiety (or whatever) in that direction.
Also, Merlin is still cuter than a whole basket of fluffy kittens. With bows on. Which does nothing to detract from the fun.
Ahem.
