Very short canter video
This is a very short video of our third canter effort. Left lead, which is my weak side (but her stronger one.) I actually have three short clips but the other two are so dark (it was evening) that you really can't see anything.
There is background chatter on the video so you might want to turn your speakers down.
I should add, we were cantering from the walk in all cases--I probably should have asked her to trot into it but at the time I thought walk would avoid fast-trot-fall-into-canter. On second thoughts, trotting to canter might have avoided the head-shaky, messy transitions we had a problem with.
Still, for a first effort after two years it definitely could be worse. And see how cute Mitzi is!
