December 14, Wednesday | At the hospital 1:36 pm
As the hospital nurse stepped out of the room Rei's eyes followed her. His head hurt a common symptom of the fading concussion he had contracted in the beating the night before. The thug that hit him from behind gave him a pretty nasty blow to the back of his head, with some sort of object Rei could only guess.
The rest of the night was a blur, he couldn't remember being rescued or even arriving to the hospital. Good thing from what Rei understood he was in pretty bad shape. I would have been worse but his rescuer had made it in time.
Fractured wrist, bruised ribs, and numerous cuts and bruises is what accompanied his mild concussion. It was these factors that Rei had to spend the night in the hospital instead of being released into the care of someone else.
It wasn't that bad, he had free food sadly the pain killers weren't that grand. Nothing too strong was prescribed to head trauma patients. He only had to stay here 24 hours until the doctors assessed he was okay enough to go home. The grandest thing of it all was he missed school. Today was 47 Ronin parade and being here meant Rei had to miss it. He smiled as he turned on his rooms television deciding to enjoy his day off.
