I am watching Jamie Oliver Food Revolution (DVRing it - not sure what tv station).
The episode I'm watching now had an interesting conundrum. Some high muckety-mucks were concerned about how their city is displayed. Apparently there was a CDC report about the area saying the obesity problem there is the worst in America. The muckety-mucks' point was that the study was not saying exactly that and they felt Jamie Oliver was unfairly singling them out and picking on them for the bad aspects of their culture.
Having watched the previous episodes in this series, I don't see the show as doing this. It is promoting healthier eating habits (wow, fruits and veggies) and showing that it can be economical and easy to prepare fresh food from scratch.
Everyone loves tasty food. Nobody can be good ALL the time. But being good most of the time gives you the chance for a healthier, and maybe happier, life.
cheers!
