I was lucky enough to be offered preview discs of the upcoming Comics Britannia series which starts on BBC4 next Monday. I've just posted an interview with Edinburgh-based cartoonist Malcy Duff on the Forbidden Planet blog, talking about his new comic The Blackest Gnome, a largely wordless story which, like much of Malcy's work, treats the reader like they have a brain and expects them to put some effort into extracting meaning from the images.
