There's a feeling in the air tonight

"I'm not saying I've been here a lot,'' Kerry said Saturday in Ohio, "but I'm about to have my mail forwarded here.''

LOL!

The boyfriend confirmed Friday that he's going down to Florida the Saturday before the election to drive elderly voters to the polls. I told him that he was wasting his time (missing several classes, plus study time) and money (flight to Florida). Furthermore, if he has all this time and money, why wasn't he spending it on me, huh?

Well, turns out he doesn't have it to spare. I was shocked to realize the depth of his feeling for this election. He feels so strongly that we can't allow Bush to stay in office that he's willing to sacrifice for the cause. I was really surprised -- I'd written it off, called it a day. Bush has the lead in electoral votes and we're completely fucked. But the boyfriend still has hope, and once I saw the paper this morning, I felt it too. We can win this thing.

Heh. The guy on the news just called Florida a "critical" battleground. And I'd written it off -- thats what I get for paying attention to these stupid forecast polls. I wonder how long it takes to drive to Ohio from D.C.

Also -- I get the feeling that I missed the Farscape mini-movie. Am I right, here? I'm afraid to look.
