Precipitation is beautiful... it makes me smile and become relaxed. It's so mysterious, and I don't understand why it affects me that it does.

Isn't it that you use the word "affect" when something causes a difference in something else... and that difference is the "effect"? Agh! I can't get that out of my head today...
