(no subject)
one week until my 18th birthday...
10 days until I leave for milwaukee...
as each summer draws to an end we all look back and think "wow, this summer flew by!" Of course it will seem that way because there are some times we just don't want to end. I've had a kick ass summer, I went to some fun-filled graduation parties, weddings, Florida, Wisconsin Dells, Door County, Tundra Lodge, Random parties, Madison (state street), Milwaukee (state fair, brewer game), and an emotional yet great weekend at mashl's cabin. I couldn't ask for a better group of friends, they've been there to share some laughs and shed some tears. I can only hope that through our transitions at the various colleges we're headed to, that we can create some line of communication, whether it be a weekly phone call, email, letter, I would be more than happy to make sure our friendships do not end when we leave.
I know that as I continue packing up my room and things for my dorm it will become increasingly emotional. I feel like just yesterday I was a freshman roaming the halls of De Pere High School, dodging the squirt gun my brother was chasing me around the school with. I guess I'm really glad that I have some great memories to reflect back on because it makes me excited for the memories I'll make in college, and future experiences.
Don't be a stranger, feel free to call/email me whenever you want. Especially with possible changes in the next month (besides college) I wouldn't mind a friendly phone call here and there. Sorry if I'm being sappy in this post but I'm just really appreciative of my life and everyone in it that has made it so special, YOU GUYS ROCK! :)
