Tonight Whitney mentioned a lecture on C.S. Lewis by Dr. Earl Palmer (from University Presbyterian Church) next Monday, 5 February at 7:30 pm in the Upper Gwinn Commons of Seattle Pacific University. Here's more info (though it's not much more) for anyone who wants to attend.

Shemaiah (shemaiah) and JG (jg_of_la) hosted a few of us for fantastic Christmas dinner Monday, followed by not one but two delicious desserts from Kendall and Mollie. Then we settled in to enjoy It's a Wonderful Life-Amy's (barlow_girl) first time ever.

To thank everyone for the wonderful evening, I wanted to share the secret, subversive history of It's a Wonderful Life.

Before I forget, huge kudos to the Stonebergs, Guillemettes, Gonzalezes, Natrix, and velouria73 (plus anyone I overlooked) for hosting an awesome all-church luncheon this Sunday. It was spectacular and delicious!
