Grandmother:

One of the Hufflepuff boys told me that I wasn't a bad Chaser for a girl. I don't want that. Why does it have to have that 'for a girl' part added on to it? Why can't I just be a good player regardless of my sex? Eunice is the best seeker at Hogwarts and she's a girl. And all of the Holyhead Harpies are witches and they almost beat ( Read more... )

*disdainfully*
Girls shouldn't be playing Quidditch at all, not if they've been brought up properly.

*eyes narrow and her shoulders square*
Just what do you mean 'brought up properly'?

*small smirk at Minerva's change in posture*
Simply that Quidditch is no game for a lady.

And just how would you define a lady then? A simpering idiot who breeds every year?

If by simpering, you mean a woman who does as she's told and agrees with her husband, then yes. A proper lady knows her place, and it certainly isn't on the Quidditch pitch.

*eyebrows raise up*
And I suppose you look forward to the day you have a lovely lady to command about, do you?
*small snort*
Bet you can't even stay on a broom.

*determinedly, but doesn't meet her eye*
I look forward to doing my duty to my family very much.

*defensively*
I expect I fly better than you. I simply don't wish to associate myself with such an uncouth 'sport'.

I suppose you can't think beyond such a duty, then.
*laughs*
I highly doubt that. Very few do. And just what would your wee lordship consider a proper sport?

*sounds just a little unsure of himself*
What do you mean?

*eyes narrow*
And what would you know of my flying? I don't see the point in sports. They are simply a means of wasting time for those with no class and no better purpose.

*giggles at 'wee lordship'*

*shakes her head whilst smiling rather wicked*
Oh nothing to worry your pretty Black head about. Merely wondering if you'll think enough to do better than your father.

*chin lifts and her eyes flash*
No class? No better purpose? Why you arrogant little bastard.
*draws her wand at the same time she grabs a hold of the waist band of his trousers*
I come from one of the oldest wizarding families in Scotland... with more class than a family of English arseholes. Now apologise.

*glares*
My father is a great, great man! I would be proud to be like him.

*is just starting to smirk when Minerva grabs him by the trousers*
*tries to sound commanding, without much success*
I will not! Get off me, you insane Scottish harpy!

*merely raises her eyebrows at this claim*

*face twists in rage at this insult and she pulls roughly on his trousers, shifting them down slightly*
*drops her gaze and stares for a moment*
*looks back up to him with a smirk*
Does your father wear lace too?

Sorry it took so long... I was laughing FAR too hard at that line of his that I couldn't get back to letting Minerva be angry at him. A line that wildesidewalker made an icon for me from!

*squeals as she yanks at his trousers, fumbling about in his robes for his wand*

*freezes and blushes bright, bright red at her comment*
*mouth works uselessly*

*giggles* That's fantastic!
