Halloween here at Hogwarts is brilliant!
We had a huge feast tonight, almost as big as the one at the start of the term. There was heaps of food on every table! There was roast beef and peas and cake and chicken and pie and potatoes and ice cream and more! Imagine all the food at one of Mum’s dinner parties and then imagine 10 50 500 times that amount. I bet it would take Blinky weeks years to cook it all.
Plus, there were all sorts of decorations! There were bright orange streamers and candle-filled pumpkins. And bats! There were real, live bats, flying all over the Great Hall! I wish we could have bats at one of Mum’s parties.
We even had entertainment during the feast, too! The ghosts did this sinkronized gliding-thing and Nearly Headless Nick did a historical reenactment of his near-beheading!
Well, I gotta run! Nick muttered something about a party and I’m going to see if I can go!
