Sir,
Your wife's Magda's name was quite clearly written on the outside of the parchment. Even had you missed that, surely that the letter began: "Dear Magda" would have given you a big clue that it wasn't a letter for you.
So in future, kindly leave Magda's correspondence alone. I shall continue to write to her and say whatever I see fit. She's never had any problems before in telling me to keep my mouth shut.
If I ever have reason to think that she's not getting the letters that I or my parents are sending her, I shall fly out and deliver them to her personally. If you want to test the theory, feel free, just be sure to have a bed made up for me.
