Dear Mr Bloch
I am writing to request an appointment with you for the purpose of setting up my own account at Gringotts. As you are well aware, because of my Fathers Neanderthal attitude toward women wishes; I will be unable to open an account of my own until I come of age next month. I would

*looks up and nods politely when she enters, pretending not to know who she is*
I'm afraid they're running rather behind today.

*recovers*
Thank you.
*speaks to the receptionist and sits down*
Reply
*impatiently* I hope they're not going to take too much longer. All I need is someone to supply the correct legal language to finance this purchase.
*looks down at carefully prepared documents concerning a purchase of land from Muggles, written up in a way that Tom knows Bella is an expert in*
Reply
I could look it over for you if you'd like.
*smiles*
I'm not quite the expert Mr Bloch is, but I can at least tell you what you'll need to have him clarify for you.
Then it wouldn't take you so long. You can go in ahead of me if you'd like. I'm afraid my business will take some time; and I'd hate for you to have to wait.

*chats lightly a bit while she looks it over*
I wouldn't dream of taking your turn. It's my own fault for not owling farther in advance. I've been out of touch for several years and I've only recently heard of Bloch, King and Harris. Absolutely delightful to find solicitors who care more about the well-being of their clients than Muggles.

It's no trouble, I assure you.
*raises an eyebrow*
Really?
They're wonderful, aren't they? Although I do find Mr King a bit intimidating. I think it's the beard.
Reply
But yes, they have been wonderful, most patient with my frequent visits, and wonderfully accomodating.
*indicates paperwork*
What do you think?
Tom has purposely put a few basic, glaring errors in so that Bella will have input to give.

I first met Mr King when I was eight. He quite frightened me then, and apparently the impression stayed with me. *whispers conspiratorially* Don't tell anyone; but he's really a big softy. When the mood strikes him that is.
*frowns*
Well, You've got the names mixed up for one thing. *points* See here, 'Party of the First Part' should be the same throughout the document. And...let me see...Are you sure the dimensions listed here for the property are correct? They seem very odd to me.
Now if I only knew something about property law, I'd be all set. :)

*smiling hopefully* Are you planning to study law?
Sorry about the delay...
Do you want to keep with this thread? If you've already written their first meeting the way you imagined it? Or maybe wrap it up quickly with Tom deciding to recruit her instead and Oblivating her so that it works in your planned timeline? I really should have asked, first.

Well, it's hardly a mess. Just changing a few names and clarifying a few measurements. I'm glad to help; Mr Bloch comes very dear. But he's worth every penny.
*pleased laugh*
It's very kind of you to say so. I've just picked up a few things from snooping in Father's desk my Father.
*shakes her head*
No; taking up a profession wouldn't go over very well at home. Although I do like to argue. I just get a bit short tempered if I come out on the losing end.
No problem! 'Tis the season!
The way I've kind of worked it out: He is the one who's going to have access to her account. He could just be there because I'm sure he'll have to sign some papers (all nice and legal doncherknow!). And he can make sure Mr Bloch isn't inclined to let her Father know. I should have checked with you as well. I'll do so before I post anything else that deals with this. Probably fairly soon; if that's OK.
