Let Her Cry!
Hootie and the Blowfish are amazing! I had doubts that, live, they would be any good, but they put on an amazing show. They mixed in some of their best hits with some new stuff and also with their own performances of "Black Water" and "Walk This Way". It was great. Some idiototic drunk frat guy decided it'd be funny to toss a beer at Darius, who laughed it off, called it a good throw, then said he was gonna kick his ass. Crowd cheered, frat boy sulked. Hootie 1, Idiot 0.
All in all, Rites of Spring has been great. It's been the perfect break from schoolwork - replacing it with parties, great music, and a very chill atmosphere. Earned myself my first drunk college story this weekend - Jason and I got drunk and decided it a great idea to shave my head, which we did. And it looks pretty good, I must say. Luckily the little clipper thing with the guards he borrowed was idiot and alcohol proof.
Other than that, I don't really have a whole lot to say. I have two more days of class, then a few days to study for a final next Saturday, then a few more days to study for my next three finals the following Wednesday and Thursday. THEN, my friends, then I'll be returning to Orange Park to begin the best summer in history.
