“You’re good at this because you’re childish,” Rodney hissed as they left Elizabeth’s office.

She’d picked John’s design.

“This from the guy who won the last three design picks,” John drawled.

Rodney rolled his eyes. “I have a niece. I conduct market research.”

“You mean experiment on her.”

“Says the man who borrows Evan’s nephews in addition to his own nieces.”

“Gender neutral toys are all the rage.”

Rodney growled. “You frustrate me.”

“Oh yeah? What’re you gonna do about it?”

Rodney checked left, checked right, pinned John to the wall. “Keep you quiet is what.” And he kissed John.

Oh, Rodney. So competitive. ::grins:: And so good at ultimately getting his way in the areas where it really counts.

This is great! Thank you!

Thanks so much! Rodney is indeed so competitive, and that definitely extends to things with John. Of course, he knows how to handle John as much as he knows how to do his job. :)

You’re welcome!

He’s been doing this long enough that he doesn’t usually notice cameras any more. Steve is more worried that props hasn’t stocked the XL condoms or the coconut-flavored lube he likes. He’s a pro, goddamn it, not some amateur with a GoPro and a hard-on ( ... )

Woo hoo! I was hoping someone would fill this one. Sexy times! I love that Steve is such a well-known adult film actor, and has certain expectations from his crew. The instant attraction with Danny is always the best! Thank you so much!

I don't know why I didn't notice this one the first time I looked at the prompts, when when I did, I did a little double-take and went "Oh, yeah!"! It was so much fun picturing Steve strutting around in the buff and Danny acting cagey (or thinking he was, which is even funnier!). I'm so glad you liked it.

Any, Any, getting an amazing job offer the same day they were fired

Rodney knows he’s ten times the scientist Robin Tunney is. He also knows he has social shortcomings. In the grand scheme of science, one small comment shouldn’t matter -

But it does.

He’s sitting at a bar, drinking Molson’s and reminding the bartender to keep any and all citrus far, far from him when a man in a blue uniform sits beside him.

Rodney doesn’t recognize the branch of service.

The man turns to him, and Rodney sees the silver US pin on his lapel.

It’s like sixth grade again.

“What does the American government want now?”

“Your brilliance, Dr. McKay.”

Not just the American government, Rodney. But a specific US flyboy. ::winks:: I love this look at how Rodney got recruited into the SGC, and going after his brilliance is probably the best way to hook him. Thank you!!

You're so welcome! In my headcanon the guy who came to get him was Major Davis, and that guy's a smooth talker.

Stargate Multiverse, any, what they tell their family their job is

Stargate, All (200) (I'm going to fill this again, because this isn't what I wanted...) shanachie_quill June 21 2018, 00:25:24 UTC
The military had it easy. Their families had long ago learned OPSEC and classified and don’t ask. And “it’s safer for us all if you don’t know”. Along with “I’ll write when I can, but if you don’t hear from me, I love you and I’ll see you soon.” Even if they wanted to ask, most of them knew better. Military knew not to question and not to tell.

But the civilians and their families. Oh, there were questions. They wanted to know where their loved ones were going. And for every one that was answered, there were five or ten or twenty more. NDAs were offered when appropriate, but more often than not, there were creative stories ( ... )

Well, this is even more amazing than I expected, so I like this fill, even though it's not what you wanted. Thank you so much! I love all the creative things the civilians come up with. Well done!

*blushes* I'm still hoping to fill it again. I had an idea, but it's not coming together for me as of yet. I'll see what happens. Thanks! I had fun thinking of them.
