Thursday: The Future Is Now

Feb 25, 2010 02:09

Hey everybody! This is havenward, your host for the day and, of course, one of the mods here.

I'd just like to take a quick moment to apologize profusely for the hiccups in the themes going up this week. I'm not sure what happened to our guest host, and due to a breakdown in our normal avenues of communication yesterday, none of the mods realized the theme had not gone up. (Thanks again, chibifukurou, for covering for us!) I'd just like to say, if the post has not gone up and it's much later in the day than it ought to be (say, I don't know, 10am PST? sometimes people need a little leeway) absolutely feel free to message one of us mods and give us the heads up. We do our best to keep track of things like this, but real life can get in the way for us too. We will address it as quickly as possible! And guest hosts, if there's an issue, please do your best to let us know so we can get things covered.

With that out of the way, let's get down to business, shall we? Today's theme is an oldie but a goodie: Time Travel.

Maybe you want to hurtle your favorite characters into the distant future or to the beginning of the universe. Maybe you want to reset your favorite characters in the Victorian era. Maybe you need a police box or a flux capacitor, or magic. The possibilities are endless when you can write and rewrite history, on purpose or by accident!

Just please remember to follow the rules:

No more than 5 prompts in a row, and no more than 3 prompts per fandom. If someone answers a prompt, you can prompt again.

No spoilers in your prompts for at least 1 week after original air/publication date. If there's spoilers in your story, please warn in bold and leave at least 3 spaces.

For the sake of your monkeys, please format your prompts correctly. For example:
SPN, Sam/Dean/Cas, "When you said 70's, I thought you meant, like, 1970."

Leverage/Back to the Future, team + Doc Brown, we stole the future once already...

Nothing in today's theme catching your interest? Check out our lonely prompts.

Happy writing!
