He thought he would have gone back by now, it's been a month and he's tried calling Michael but no one's listening to him any more.

He's started to fall into a routine and it's not a good one, he helps out with supplies then goes to Cas' hut to get high, get drunk and fuck. It's the only familiarity he has now and he likes the way Cas laughs with him like they are sharing a private joke. He hates looking at his future self and seeing the self-loathing there, he promises when or if he goes back he won't let Cas go this time, he won't let their future be this way.

Gabriel watches them from afar as Sam hugs his mom, holds her and she holds him back, he can see she's crying and he imagines that Sam is as well.

He is happy he can give Sam this moment of happiness, he'll take him back to the future and return to wipe Mary's mind of it.

SPN, Sam & Dean, Stuck In The 1950s,Sam doesn't know how but he knows somehow that this is all Dean's fault
