Still, Claire couldn’t help thinking about her real father-her biological father. She lay awake at night wondering what he looked like, if she resembled him at all, what his job was, whether he had the same cravings for chocolate ice cream in the middle of the night like her...
Little, meaningless things.
She thought of him wanting to see her and it gave her hope that one day she would.
