(no subject)
So today was my first day of school. Nothing really to write home about, but we did get our schedules.
8:18-9:56 Culinary Arts 2 Ellis
I had Culinary Arts 1 first semester of last year. Basically you learn how to cook and everything you cook you get to eat. I really like Ms. Ellis, so thats cool. Not many people in there that I actually know/like, but I suppose I'll survive.
Not sure if I should be more "YAY FOOD!" or "YAY FIRE!".
9:56-11:34 Sociology/Psychology Heard/Diehm
These are split into two nine week classes (a semester is made up of, you guessed it, two nine weeks). You take Sociology first, and then the second nine weeks is Psychology. Mr. Heard seems sorta cool, not too sure yet though, as it was only a half day (so we were in each class about half an hour). Psychology has always interested me, and judging by the overview he gave us of Sociology, I think I'm going to be happy. Trey, Nikki, Britney, Carol, Cody, and feck load of other people I'm friends with are in there, so that should be fun.
11:34-1:12 Economics/U.S. Government Diehm/Heard
Yep, same teachers as Psychology and Sociology! Five guesses who's going to get confused! First four, however, do not count. Right, so anyway. It involves math. Im not a fan of math of any sort, but its a required class, so I have to take it. Ms. Diehm seems like a terribly cool cat, so maybe that'll make up for it. Plus? Yet another class with all m'buddies.
1:12-2:50 English 4 Colvin
Ms. Colvin completely owns (ok, so she has a bunch of movie posters and is the Drama teacher so I've all ready had her twice.), plus I'm vereh good at English. Should be a piece of cake. Not so many of the people I like in here, but it has Matt (who is dropping it for Adv. which I may do. Yay Ms. Holmes.).
So as you can tell, nothing too terribly exciting. Although its vaguely amusing to wander into the Gym and have people screaming your name. I could get used to that, really.
Oh and Five People commented about the Blondeness of my hair (mostly generic 'snarks' along the lines of 'Damn, you molested the bleach bottle didn't ya?'What can I say? Ours is a torrid affair.)
ANNNND its vaguely frightening that this is the second-to-last time I'll post a sched. (shall wait until next semester to post about those classes as..OMG THEY'RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!)
