LOL, it is also true what you say about Ippo being totally straight. Miyata I think is more ambiguous. But have you gotten to the butt cuddles? I don't think you have, I think that happens in New Challenger, but seriously. There is a scene where Ippo is so excited to see Miyata he trips over his own legs and faceplants into Miyata's butt. And then Ippo clings and nuzzles it a little before Miyata is all, "what the actual fuck?" It is... bizarre and amusing to watch. But I really like Ippo and Kumi, so. LOL the manga seems to be building weird Sendou/Miyata tension lately. They get together and spar and talk about Ippo and are all weirdly fired up about him together.
And Ippo, who didn't do anything when his mom was insulted, has to be restrained from going after Sendou when Sendou affectionately swats the back of Miyata's head, LOL.
The manga, though, is also full of jokes about how Ippo thinks about Miyata like Miyata is his lover, complete with mini Miyata throwing Kumi out of Ippo's brain, which is a little crazy.
And hey, I just moved to norcal from Florida, so my laptop is, randomly, still set to EST.
