Stuffed
Dave and I are both feeling rather stuffed after a lunch of cold cuts, including smoked chicken breast and an amazing pork pie, some cheeses and salmon paté with horseradish, a brown bap each and some tawny port. Riley loved the smoked chicken! Prior to this we enjoyed a game of Scrabble. Dave won.
Tonight we shall watch Christmas University Challenge in which teams of alumni from well known universities compete. We often find ourselves shouting answers at the TV screen!
For now it's a glass of cognac followed no doubt by a nap!
