The last thing I need

Our vet made a house-call today to see Riley again. The course of prednisolone had had no affect on his constant licking biting and scratching but I was convinced he did not have fleas. Wrong! At this inspection we actually spotted one on him so, yes, he does have fleas. The vet treated him six weeks ago with a spot-on med but it hasn't worked. I now have the unenviable task of hoovering everywhere and spraying all areas with a household flea killer and washing all of his bedding - again.

All this when I am suffering with a nasty bout of persistent diarrhoea. I feel exhausted...
