Bedlam
The last shopping trip to purchase final items for Christmas including fresh, organic vegetables. I had to do this without Ros who has been struck with a nasty respiratory virus (no, it's not Covid, we've done the lateral flow test) and her GP has prescribed a course of Doxycycline broad spectrum antibiotic. Nevertheless it has left her feeling tired and out of sorts. There I was then, facing a plod around ASDA at the Brighton Marina. An hour of - utter - bedlam. Hardly room to manoeuvre, trolleys and bodies everywhere.
Well, that's it. Time now to relax at home until Christmas Day when I will be preparing lunch for Ros and our neighbour Amelia. And for the first time for many years there will be no - BRUSSELS SPROUTS!
